Psalm 37:16-17

Day 1
2012/01/01

Psalm 37:16-17 (NIV). Better the little that the righteous have than the wealth of many wicked; for the power of the wicked will be broken, but the LORD upholds the righteous....... Thoughts on This Verse... What is your most important capital, your money or your character? I can assure you, this question will be asked of you a myriad of ways, quite often at the worst of all possible times when you are most vulnerable. Martin Luther supposedly said that the last thing to get converted in a man was his wallet. So will you choose the little of the righteous over the wealth of many wicked? Hmmm! Tough question in a pinch. So let's make that decision now before the circumstances change. God, his Kingdom, his will, and his righteousness come first, right?

Your power to overcome

RT @OnetyMora:
Your power to overcome is directly proportional to the time you spend in quiet solitude with the Savior. John 15:5 #aheartforgod #Tworship
John 15:5 (King James Version)
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Acts 9:1-99 (New King James Version)

Acts 9

The Damascus Road: Saul Converted
1 Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest 2 and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
3 As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. 4 Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”
5 And he said, “Who are You, Lord?”
Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.[a] It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”
6 So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?”
Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”
7 And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice but seeing no one. 8 Then Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened he saw no one. But they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. 9 And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank.

Acts 3:1-99 (New King James Version)

Acts 3

A Lame Man Healed
1 Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. 2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; 3 who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. 4 And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” 5 So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. 6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” 7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God. 10 Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

Acts 1:1-99 (New King James Version)

Acts 1

Prologue
1 The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, 2 until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen, 3 to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.

J.R. Church Has Been Called to Eternal Glory

J.R. Church Has Been Called to Eternal Glory

By Bob Ulrich on March 22, 2011
He left us on March 22, 2011 and is now in the presence of Jesus. Like the Apostle Paul, he can now say, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness . . . “ He influenced many lives and will be greatly missed.
J.R. was a true prophetic visionary who founded this ground-breaking ministry in 1979. His system of prophetic interpretation has led the way in understanding the astonishing growth and influence of latter day Israel and the things that lie just ahead.

Since many churches are now abandoning the study of eschatology, there is more need than ever for people to hear J.R.’s clear message of end-time prophecy.  This is the reason Prophecy in the News exists. It was the desire of J.R. and his wife Linda that this ministry continue on, and with your help and support it will.
Your prayers for Linda and the family are greatly appreciated. Expressions of sympathy should be addressed to:

J.R. is now experiencing all the joys of heaven. He’s met Jesus face to face and has seen Him in all His glory. In Peter’s 1st letter, Chapter 5:10-11, there’s a thought that carried J.R. through his last difficult days. “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered awhile, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
Before his passing, J.R. was tremendously excited about the nearness of the Rapture. He’ll be coming back soon to greet us in the air with the Lord. We’re excited too! We want to meet each of you in the air on that day. No one said it better than J.R. Church: KEEP LOOKING UP!

An amazing prayer

Subject: An amazing prayer         This is absolutely great ! ! ! A Pastor with GUTS! Thought you might enjoy this interesting  prayer given in Kansas at  the opening session of their Senate. It seems  prayer still upsets some  people.. When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open  the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard:  Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask  your forgiveness and to seek your direction and  guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those  who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we  have done.  We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed  our values.  We have exploited the poor and called it  the lottery.  We have rewarded laziness and called it  welfare..  We have killed our unborn and called it  choice.  We have shot abortionists and called it  justifiable.  We have neglected to discipline our  children and called it building self esteem....  We have abused power and called it  politics.  We have coveted our neighbor's possessions  and called it ambition.  We have polluted the air with profanity and  pornography and called it freedom of expression.  We have ridiculed the time-honored values  of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.  Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts  today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.  Amen!  The response was immediate. A number of  legislators walked out during the prayer in  protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian  Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than  5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls  responding negatively. The church is now receiving  international requests for copies of this prayer  from India , Africa and Korea .  Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on  his radio program, 'The Rest of the Story,'and  received a larger response to this program than any  other he has ever aired.  With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep  over our nation and wholeheartedly become our  desire so that we again can be called 'one nation  under God.'  If possible, please pass this prayer on to  your friends.... 'If you don't stand for something,  you will fall for everything.'  Think about this: If you forward this  prayer to everyone on your  e-mail list, in less than 30 days it would be  heard by the world.  How many people in your address book will  not receive this prayer.....do you have the guts to pass it on?

The Great Day of God

The Great Day of God

1“For behold, the day is coming,
Burning like an oven,
And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble.
And the day which is coming shall burn them up,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“That will leave them neither root nor branch.
2But to you who fear My name
The Sun of Righteousness shall arise
With healing in His wings;
And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves.
3You shall trample the wicked,
For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet
On the day that I do this,”
