Creation vs Evolution

I. Defining Worldview:

A. It is the Lens by which we see life.

B. It is the Foundation of our value system.

C. It is the Guiding Truth that shapes our lives.

II. Worldview on our Existence: EVOLUTION

A. We are a Cosmic Accident.

“We are just an advanced breed of monkeys
on a minor planet of a very average star.”

B. No higher Value to life.

of the theory that man is nothing but
the product of heredity and environment.”

C. There is no Absolute Truth.

subject only to the laws we forcibly

impose upon one another.”

D. There is no defining Purpose in life.

III. Biblical Worldview on our Existence: CREATION

“The heavens declare the glory of God;

the skies proclaim the work of His hands.

Day after day they pour forth speech;

night after night they reveal knowledge.

They have no speech, they use no words;

no sound is heard from them.

Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,

their words to the ends of the world.

In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.”

A.   Our universe is with a Finite Beginning.

B. God is the Master Designer.

D. We were made by God for a Divine Destiny.
